Tier H — Human

Origination and performance are both human. Minimum 4 of 5 axes human. AI, if present, is restricted to post utility or corrective plugins.

Tier X — Hybrid

Primary human creative authorship on origination or performance with AI contribution on complementary axes.

Structured 5-Axis Self-Report

Replace flat AI checkboxes in upload forms with 5-axis dropdowns. Automatically maps directly to standard DDEX ERN 4.3 XML AI fields.

PHASE 2 · OPTIONAL PROOF

Cryptographic Essence Signing

Artists generate Ed25519-signed `hps_manifest.json` via HPS CLI or DAW plugin. Ingestion server verifies raw PCM SHA-256 hash on drop.

PHASE 3 · AUTOMATED PIPELINE

Verified Source of Truth

Signed manifest populates all release delivery metadata. Surfaces verified `[HPS-X1]` badges directly on streaming partner UIs.

Raw PCM Essence Hashing (`raw_audio_essence`)

HPS hashes decoded PCM audio samples, ignoring container headers. If ID3 tags are altered or format converted, the essence hash remains valid. If audio samples are edited, the hash invalidates automatically.

Distributor Verification API Spec

Submits file or manifest. Returns boolean verification, essence hash match status, and Ed25519 signature validity.
